  The website offers chicken and waffles. I thought that would be great last Sunday for brunch. Brought my family in. No chicken and waffles on the menu. The waiter was a nice guy but the worst service I have ever received. He said he worked there for 1.5 years and when we had questions about the menu he did not know the answers. My daughter's loaded pancakes with chocolate strawberries and whipped cream came with no strawberries and a tablespoon of whipped cream. For a steakhouse it was the worst steak I've ever had. I asked for medium it was over well done. They brought my daughter's food out 15 minutes before my girlfriend and I. My daughter was finished eating before we even got our meal. I still gave the guy a tip because he was nice it's not his fault food was horrible. My girlfriend ordered soft poached eggs and they came hard. I think the place was empty for a reason. The waiter was surprised there was actually people in the restaurant and he verbally told us this. That was the first red flag and I should have listened. Never go here.

  Decent food, ok service. Met for a business lunch, and had a bit of a wait before ordering. The food came out pretty quick

  This should definitely be a 4+ restaurant. Too many people complaining about the smallest things and firing out 1-stars. This was my first visit to red deer and it was by my hotel. They make AMAZING food and very reasonably priced too! : ) She forgot to pack my soup and came all the way up to my hotel to deliver it for me. Unreal service and unreal soup. If you order from anywhere make sure it's this Smokehouse. Very legit beans too! -Steve

  Was in town for a few days on business and was told about this place by the front desk at my hotel. Glad I went. It was really good and the portion size on the Smoked 1/4 chicken I ordered was awesome. I was stuffed. And the server I had ( Christina) was excellent as well. Will for sure think about eating here next time I am in Red Deer.

  My number one spot to go when staying in Red Deer. The atmosphere is great, tvs have all the games. The food has always been fantastic. Once I had to wait a little long for a burger (it was worth it) but it was a busy Sunday night. Lastly the service is awesome. I've had Sarah three times now and she's genuinely friendly and speedy. Give Mohave a try if you haven't yet!
